Sometimes a merging of weighing equipment
and other machinery or control devices is necessary. PLC's (process logic controllers) have been used for years
by industry to control machines for packaging, sorting, filling and much more. Modern scale instrumentation
has much of the same process control capability. In fact, when weight is being evaluated as part of a system sequence, the
scale instrumentation often delivers a more efficient job of process control. Advanced scale "controllers"
are being used for everything from "In-Motion" weighing to "Multi-Ingredient Batching".
When integration of weight data with existing PLC or networked equipment is desired there are
